Letchworth Village - Stony Point / Haverstraw, NY - Institution for the Feebleminded and ....
Old abandoned institution that spread over hundreds of acres in Haverstraw / Stony Point NY area. It was in operation from very early 1900's up until 1996. Administration continued there until around 2002. It was created to be an Institution for the Feebleminded and Epileptic.
We spent days and days exploring and have barely made a dent because the location is absolutely huge.
Most of the property has been sold and is slated for condos, golf course, etc...
