the people off guard on the Upper Dawson St shot..

Just a small point, I`ve always called that photography "Candid Photography". Street Photography
was the man with a camera round his neck taking your picture then trying to sell you copies.
It was often seen in holiday places and major city streets. They were called street photograpers

I guess different photographers have different terms for it, eh..?

I've no doubt that some of the onlookers did also,specifically those who didn't know what the contraption was the cameraman had in front of him.
