View Full Version : August 2011 - Church Towers ONLY

The theme Cadfael has chosen for August is Church Towers Only...
I've photographed most of em in Liverpool but I'd like to see them from unusual angles or the towers that aren't in the public eye but hidden down a side road. Even better if the church itself doesn't feature in the picture just to make it a little more difficult!!
Remember, only post two photos and try and preferably taking somewhere in Merseyside
The last day to post your photo is 30th August with the winner being announced on the 31st.
Complete rules can be found here (http://www.yoliverpool.com/forum/showthread.php?49225-Monthly-Themed-Challenge-Rules)
Good luck to everyone

Eh, what? A JCB or sommat. It'd take an impressive machine...to tow a whole church. ;)

The now demolished St John/James. Another Church demolished on the Bishop's 'watch'. :taxi: Taxi for anyone who demolishes a church which took many men, many years to build by hand.

This is my favourite, I love the tower on this one, it's so high and slimline.

Changed it in July to gives us more time to contact the winner. With the old way the winner only has one day to let us know the next theme, which hasn't always happened, so to be fair, they've got a month to let me know.
I know it's a little bit confusing, but I think it makes things simpler in the long run lol
