Hi,
I recently visited Blue Coat Chambers and on the right hand side of the rear doorway is a pencil-drawn map of our great city. The detail is absolutely fantastic with factual and humourous comments.
I wonder if anybody on here has a link or may know where I could purchase a copy.
Kind regards.

Why not enquire at the reception or shop? There might have been a name or other information in the margin of the map which would help, but if not it's probably best to enquire of them. :)

Normally I would have, however my daughter dragged me out for her retail therapy.
I will get back down there but I just thought whilst I'm online...

Yes, and why not? :)
You never know, but someone who does know about this may be along later. Good luck with your search.

I thought my eyes were deceiving me! £1495 + VAT no, can't be right, £1,495 + VAT , would that be 20% extra or is there a reduced rate for prints. At 20% it totals £1,794,(Yup***), is it any wonder people are buying copies. They're taking the mick. I'd wait until the market/ street traders start selling copies for £15 (inc VAT:smirk:).
Best of luck Brian, thanks Corky,
Chas

Cheers for that.
2 minutes later Bluecoat replied with the same email addy that you so kindly furnished.
Much appreciated.
They said they are available at £25 but I'm waiting to see what size they are.

£25 sounds much more realistic :)

I bought that map for £25 at the Bluecoat and it is the original size. 910 x 990mm. Great value.
Does anyone know where I can now buy a frame for it? I've had a quick look online and the cheapest quote is £50+.
Most of the retail stores dont go as large.
Great map though, I highly recommend it.

Can your map be nearly three feet high and four inches across?
When you have double checked you could try these folk...

I worked for some years in a glass-cutting shop. There we cut the glass to fit the hardboard and supplied the clips. Is there a hardware store near you that would cut the board (accurately-ish) and a glass shop similarly capable?
