There is a UN summit on the Internet taking place in Tunisia. It's looking at the big issues: the future of the Internet and the ownership of the world wide web itself. Diplomats there have reached an agreement to work towards international cooperation.
There was a split between the United States and the rest of the world over the American desire to retain control over the global network.
Who should have control over the Internet?
Should it be the state, private companies or household users?
Should there be any control at all?
