There is an old saying that you ( or they) look the spitting image of you? so my question is to you?
who looks like you ( or you to them) and WHO would you like to be?
my answer to that is NO ONE I know in my 62 years I honestly have to admit I have made 1 or 2 mistakes( hahahahahahahahaha) but I wouldn't want to be anyone else as if your famous you end up with the big "C"
But talking to my mum & sister in Perth ( Scotland) that when I was a teenager ( wow what century was that) that I combed My hair the way of my idol ( Buddy Holly) and even I my specs were THICK BLACK ONES and this afternoon I decided to open my prezzie and put it on and open the window so the steam goes out Janice was hanging out the washing while talking to Maureen ( not the one on here) and then all the sudden the neighbours dogs started howling What's that? Michael trying to sing to Buddy Holly but watch & listen then the B-------ch ran in and put the hot water on Bl------dy hell DOG'S CEASED HOWLING people /dogs have no ear for music hahha

Let us pass quickly over the fact that it was so last century. ;)

A barber used to remark that I looked like the drummer in our local band*, but barbers and their nattering, need I say more.

Thank you Ged, now for a very up setting confession everytime I see someone showing their photo's I get angry & kick myself around 25 years ago while both Janice & myself was at work and kids were at school a wall plug must have burnt out and caused a fire which b4 anybody could anything the whole lot went qicker than A lime st girl could say yea, and all our photo's wedding and when all the kid's growing and our life "poof" so our life really is starting now all we have are memories

Tell me Ged I know this might sound a dumb Question? but if as you say you are scanning your photo's? to your computer so what happens if your house get's on fire like mine did won't your photo's go POOF when your computer burns?

I have thousands of my local history photos saved onto a portable pen drive and these will be added. That goes with me everywhere. Just in case, I have a 3rd source of back up. It's not too much trouble placing everything into the back-ups and well worth it.

I lost a lot of data from my PC a few years ago when for no apparent reason the hard drive crashed and all the data was unrecoverable. Since then, I invested in a ED Smartware portable hard drive which I use just to back up all my data on a monthly basis. My computer crashed about a year ago (see my previous post - when I was looking for another) and my back up was up to date - so it was just a matter of plugging it into a USB port and hey presto - it's all back up and running again (including all my photos that I had spent hours scanning).
