IT"S ON!

Jeff Lacy's going to get smashed and Joe Calzaghe score a second supermiddleweight title while he does it! :hello1:

Americans will probably have to fork out pay per view money when we'll get it for free on ITV! :hello1:

CALZAGHE-LACY MANCHESTER-BOUND
Joe Calzaghe's world super-middleweight title unification fight with American Jeff Lacy will take place at Manchester's MEN Arena on Saturday, March 4.

The date and venue for the clash between unbeaten WBO champion Calzaghe and undefeated IBF title-holder Lacy were announced by promoter Frank Warren on Monday.

Warren had hoped to stage the long-awaited show in front of Calzaghe's Welsh fans at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium.

But the date clashes with the Wales rugby team's Six Nations campaign so Warren has opted for the 22,000-capacity Manchester venue.

The high-profile clash had been scheduled to take place before Christmas but was postponed when Calzaghe injured his hand in a routine defence against Evans Ashira in September.

Ask the 40 guys he's fought how hard Joe hits and he even dumped Eubank on the deck in less than a minute!

HOLY CRAP!

It was a ****ing mismatch Calzaghe won every round and cut Lacy to pieces!

Lacy's corner should of pulled him out he looks like he's going to the hospital to be checked after such punishment!

The points were so wide too 119 - 105 was the widest.

I thought 119 - 107 to maybe 109 but Lacy was outclassed.

Max, you ever hear of Robby (Bobby) Langton? He's getting on a bit now, but fought golden gloves for St. Malaky's back in the 60's. He's from Toxteth. Then fought pro until he retired.
