Hi Linda . . . . thanks, honey. I spend some time abroad; usually December and then through the year short trips, business or pleasure.
Your second question is a little like asking me what's my favourite piece of music? It depends on the mood I am in or what I want to get out of it.
Spain. Ticks all the boxes though for me it is too far away from the rest of Europe, which I love too.
Italy ticks a lot of boxes too with its varied cultures and superb scenery; especially the Italian Alps and the Dolomites.
I like Germany as it is so clean, friendly, scenic.
Austria is lovely, scenic and friendly too, especially Salzburg and Vienna if you love history and culture. The Austrian Lakes. Like Colorado.
Bulgaria: I sell there but it's not for me. Too far away but a nice enough place to visit.
Cyprus. Great but it's a long way away so no good for short trips and weekends.
Turkey: For me it's lost its magic but if you like the aromas of the East, the culture - and the prices, go for it.
See what I mean, Linda. Probably the only question I cannot answer is 'where's the best place?'
Costa del Sol. More sophisticated, more to do, better transport.
Costa Almeria. Tranquil, away from the madding crowd.
Costa Blanca South. Great for those who are not pretentious.
Costa Blanca North. Very scenic. A sort of Wirral in permanent sunshine. Similar kind of residents.
Thanks for asking. x

Costa del Sol for me then

I have been there a number of times and have loved it.
I havn't been to the other costas but by the sound of it I think Andalucia suits me better.

have been tempted to try Turkey but havn't as yet. I know people who go every year and love it.

Don't fancy Bulgaria at all.

Italy I am sure must be beautiful.
