...and the flamin' struggle must go on! - So say the residents of Cairns Street...
As it’s the first Saturday in the month, the residents of Cairns Street at the Princes Park end of the Granby Triangle are holding their colourful street market today. Their lively and imaginative campaign against the threatened arrival of the bulldozers is continuing, since the new Labour administration are continuing with the last council's plans to demolish the whole area, despite professional advice that it would be cheaper to refurbish these properties.
