Could well be Norm matey..

People standing around were saying it was a Heron and an old chap was adamant it was a Heron..

I see both birds on my walks on the beach here every morning, and love watching the Cormorants diving for fish, the Herons seem to have a longer necks and feet, and stand in the 'Inlets' to pick the fish out of the shallows. (I lead such an 'active' life do'nt I ??) :PDT_Aliboronz_24:
