i'm looking for a cheap place to stay in toxteth. a hostel or a youth hostel would be alright.

i thought there was a hostel in upper parliament street but i cant remember its name and google doesnt seem to be very helpful on this matter.

can anybody help me?

Try the Pineapple Hotel (http://www.thepineapplehotel.co.uk/)in Park Road, or if you are on an even tighter budget the hostel you are thinking of is probably the Embassie (http://www.embassie.com).

yeah i actually meant the embassy. i probably couldnt find find it because i didnt remember the street correctly.

The new Youth Hostel is not far from Toxteth on the Road along the river.In fact Sefton Street/Wapping has all the cheap hotels F1, Daulby, Campanile as well. It is a short walk up to Parliament Street which runs through Toxteth. There is also a new place Called The Nightingale on Princes Road but it looks a bit unprofessional and is up for sale even though it has only been open a month or so
