It is A4 size - full colour showing the detailed street Atlas of 1928 with thousands of roads, streets and places indexed.

Good luck to everyone who enters. The image can't be from 1100 incidentally because the Tower of Liverpool, which appears to the right in the view, was not built until 1406.

The answer is the Chapel of St Mary del Quay

Reference below

In 1207 Liverpool received its charter from King John. By 1257 a small stone chapel known as St Mary del Quay had been built. It probably stood near to the site of the present tower, overlooking a quay on the River Mersey. The chapel was used as the main centre of worship until 1355, when a new chapel dedicated to St Mary and St Nicholas was built on land granted to the burgesses by the Duke of Lancaster.

So to have been entered into the draw, I was looking for the words St Mary del Quay or Chapel of St. Mary in your email!

Got mine too, it's great Kev, thanks. Retails at £20. Dunno if i'd have bought it at that price but basically is a 1928 A-Z but lots of other stuff too.
