Can any one help me?I have on my wall a map of the town of Liverpool engraved by Thomas Starling year 1835.It is engraved on lined showing all street names and docks I think north of the river covering the areas of Edge Hill,& Toxteth park,Kirkdale & Everton Low Hill. What I would like to know how do i get it valued? and is it worth it.It is framed and the area of the map is 110cm x 1670cm,it does have a few creases on it.
I live in Australia.

Here's a link to a site that mentions what appears to be the same item:

There's an email link to the webmaster which might result in a free valuation if you ask nicely?

Hi Sharkazula

Any genuine period map will fetch a nice price. I am not in a position to give you such a price but you might email sellers of period maps and manuscripts who might be prepared to give you a valuation.
