Sorry if this has been posted before. Anybody signed up with Setanta? £9.99 a month seems a bit steep as it includes quite a few sports channels I know I wouldn't use, would be interested to know how you think it compares with Sky sports.

Sign up for Setanta Sports today and not only will you be able to enjoy LFC TV - the club's brand new dedicated channel - when it launches in September, you'll also be able to watch both of the Reds' friendlies live from Switzerland this week.
Rafael Benitez's side take on Werder Bremen in Grenchen on Tuesday night (7.15pm ko) and then face French outfit Auxerre on Friday in Freiburg (2pm ko).

Record signing Fernando Torres is expected to make his debut in one of the matches while there are also likely to be first starts for fellow new boys Ryan Babel and Yossi Benayoun.

Both matches are live and exclusive on Setanta Sports, who will be bringing you LFC TV as part of its nine channel sports package in the autumn.

LFC TV will be included at no extra cost - the recently reduced price of £9.99 a month applies to the full Setanta Sports Pack, and there is no annual contract.

The channel will also be broadcast live on www.liverpoolfc.tv as part of e-Season Ticket, the official website's premium content service.

I have an Eseason ticket and i am very happy we are getting our own tv channel at last.

Was very disapointed trying to watch the Wrexham and Crewe game yesteday via the Liverpool website and the stream was stopping and starting every 20 seconds or so.

I think £10 a month is great as its not just the LFC channel but all the other sport channels you are getting with it.

Just be warned, read carefully the prem games are not Live.

Its says on the liverpool website
"Sign up for Setanta Sports today and not only will you be able to enjoy LFC TV - the club's brand new dedicated channel - when it launches in September, you'll also be able to watch both of the Reds' friendlies live from Switzerland this week"

So i take it these games will just be shown on Setanta ch1 if we wont have a LFC channel till September:PDT_Aliboronz_11:

well I will defo be getting this package and report back after the channel is launched in September.

I have been trying to find out what is going on over here in North America since last week.

Setanta have the rights but can only broadcast 2 football club channels and are already broadcasting MUTV and Chelsea FC.

So obviously they have to drop one of those two or else sell the rights to Fox, Gol or one of the other footy channels ?

I spoke to them today, they are based it San Francisco over here, they didn't say much only to add only that they want to find a way to get it on the telly over here because they know how huge the Liverpool fan base is.

Hopefully as you say they'll dump Chelsea :PDT_Aliboronz_24:
