I hate the KFC ad;
She sings;
''I can feed the family for only 9: 99''
He sings;
''great, she hasn't cooked''
:mad: :eek: .... it's the horrible tune and the awful singing that I can't stand !
The other one I hate is that daft old fellah that keeps shouting ''40 years! 40 years!'' ''I havn't claimed in 40 years !''
Don't like the Churchill bulldog either - ''oh, yes!'' :(
Diamond Car Insurance are pure evil and they who the worse drivers really are. :p

Yeah, Safestyle Windows - I wouldn't buy an ice lolly off him! :D
All those patronising loan adverts- with 'competitive rates' of around 20% interest ("They're very nice people to deal with!" ...I'll bet they are, wait until you default on your payments, mate!)
Then there's that poisoned dwarf in the oversized green overall floggin' cars- or more to the point LOANS at exhorbitant rates. I'd love to say 'yes' if some idiot would pay me three times the going rate for a loan! ;)
Yes car credit -

'Just for women'...what's that all about?
Whatever happened to the equality laws? 'Fewer claims' does not equate to 'safer drivers'! :D
Hang on, I'll just put my spoon away. :rolleyes:

It's that generation that I don't have a trendy name for, that the media have pushed to the extreme, the generation who are now uttering the question - Do we need men anymore? WT..? We will save that for another thread eh?

Lol...safestyle windows...were not allowed to mention that company in front of my parents, especially my mum, they agreed a few years ago for a rep from there to come round and show a few examples etc, but at the end my parents weren't really interested so said they'd think about it and get back to them if they wanted ne new windows, and now they wish they'd never said that, they've been hounded non stop by the company ever since, getting phone calls sometimes 3 or 4 times a week, many a times they've told them they aren't interested, even complained and were told they would be taken off their list but it never happened, they still called, anyway, a few weeks back a woman called from safestyle, she started the usual rubbish and half way through my mum said 'look sorry but we've told you tons of times now were not interested in getting new windows' and to that the woman on the other end said 'Well! theres no need to be so F***ing rude about it' and slammed phone down, my mum was fuming! my dad wrote a letter off to them and its getting looked into as i type..

Two more very annoying ads ;
Clover. ''We all love Clover''
Those people eating corn on the cob with Clover on ... but the gormless expressions on their faces !! ... and it looks like they have tears running down their cheek ! :confused: .. they must be so overwhelmed by the Clover ! :rolleyes:
The other ad that really sets my teeth on edge is the one for 'Mars Delight' - there is a very annoying little ditty on it sung by an annoyingly cheerful voice, something like ;
'Jadda, Jadda,
Jadda, Jadda,
Jing, Jing, Jing'

Doorstep lender Provident closed it's struggling 'Yes Car Credit' company with the loss of 820 jobs only three years after buying it for £77million. It's closure is reckoned to cost £141million!
Well, that's one series of duff adverts out of the way then! :rolleyes:

Theres an annoying one on "Smooth FM" for the "Spanish Property Centre", with a woman with fake spanish accent warbling the name of the company to the accompnyment of guitars
I aslo hate the Asda kids singing ones, "Sarahs Mum" etc!

oh and I hate the Norwich Union one where she falls off the chair and kicks her legs in the air - serious health and safety issues there...in fact I hate all Norwich Union ads.
Picture The Loan makes me laugh, they have really marketed it towards the 'just surviving' working family group.
Whilst remortgaging our house a while ago - I refused to become drawn in to the 'reps' conversations about what football team I supported and how much nursery fees are compared to London but its hard. I was that guy talking about football, whilst the wife was in stitches. I felt like I'd made a new mate.

Three kids on a bench. One of them is talking her head off: Blah blah blah blah blah blah, yap, yap, yap, yap, yap. One of the other kids hands her a sports-lid-type bottle of water (Dunno which brand). She drinks it, thereby shutting her up, and the other two kids look very relieved.
If the girl is so annoying, why do the other two hang out with her?
Wouldn't it be a lot cheaper to just duct (duck) tape her mouth shut?
Why, based solely upon witnessing this commercial, should I buy their product as opposed to the other guys'? Are they trying to get me to buy for the highly unlikely and unfortunate event that I am trapped in an enclosed space (e.g., bus) with such an annoyingly vociferous person and need an emergency on-the-spot pacifier/dummy? :202:

What about the Whiskas 'Oh So Fishy' commercial? Why is the cat seeing imaginary fishies made out of yarn swimming around in the bathtub?! Seems there may be some stuff in this cat food you wouldn't want your cat getting a hold of.....:retard:
Also, what regional accent does this woman have? In general, I like British accents. But there's something really grating about the way the woman in this commercial talks.
That Rice Crispies advert - wot the hell is a poo stick?

The Admiral ones, with that idiot and a parrot. That ad agency must be geniuses, putting the fella in an admirals costume, just where to the ideas come from???
Funnily enough, in a pub a while back, a drunken old lady was passing comment with a freind on various other drinkers. "Youre alright", she said about me, "sitting there like Lord Nelson". ?????????

I don't like the new ASDA Adverts. Why do they need to have kids singing cr*p songs? Go back to the older ones or nick the old Tesco Mother in law as she was good. No, the new ASDA ads really do drive me up the wall.
The Ad with Tim Healy doing the voice-over gets me goat too. I hate his accent and I wouldn't trust what he says with a bargepole (bad experciance of Geordies; don't ask!)
I also saw the new Ultralase ad today aswell. All it is is a nude woman on a pedistall using her hands to cover up the explicit bits. Now surely that is softcore porn? How can that be a daytime TV ad? I hope no kids were watching at the time. I mean, how many people want cosmetic surgery only to have to show off every knook and crannie on international TV? They must be mad. I wonder how long it will be before someone complains?
Finally, the Caniston Atheletes Foot ad is another of my hates. I really don't want to see a strange blokes foot on TV thank you very much!

I dislike with a passion the car adverts were the kids go on about the parents doing this and that, and it's probably just a phase they're going through. I think they're for a people carrier
To be honest, I don't like most of the adverts were either kids are made out to be cleverer than the adults or the ones were the bloke is soooo stupid but the woman is clever (ok thats probably true in real life too lol)
Gotta admit I like the BT adverts, they're like the less cheesy version of the gold blend adverts

I don't like the deep voice singing : ''dum diddy dum diddy dum !!'' :PDT_Xtremez_42:
The autoglass ones on the radio do my head in,when Gavin tells a boring story about someone whose holiday journey got delayed because a chip on their windscreen turn ed into a crack. No wonder car insurance is so high when he's reminding everyone that chips are usually repaired for free under the cover.

The t.v. ads we have today are like Hollywood productions when compared to the early days.When ITV first started in the North West,a lot of the adverts were broadcast live and I remember one in particular which was for Lurpak Danish butter.It was being introduced into the U.K. market and the advert had a beautiful young blonde lady,wearing a faux danish folk dress,with a micro skirt to show off her gorgeous legs.Smiling nervously at the camera she said,"Lurpak butter is...er..erm.." a voice in the background said "Is made from the milk of Danish cows," which she repeated,and then stuttered into silence again ,when the voice in the background fed her the next line,and so on until the end of the advert.When you think of,it worked, because I've never forgotten it
Aah,those lovely days of gas television,watch out for a bit more in my story.

2 horrible ads on at the moment that I don't like:
The Baileys Irish cream one - the girl shaking the cocktail maker and her face is shown in slow motion - she looks like a Basset Hound shaking it's head !! horrible !!
An advert for Thorntons - have you seen the latest one ? it's horrible :eek:
I thought Thorntons ads were usually cheery and nice. This one is weird.
All the sofa and january sales ads that we'll be flooded out with at Christmas. They've not started yet but I loathe them :unibrow:
