Liquorice, now you're talking.
"Say it fast and it's almost like saying...vodka lolly...liquor-ice,
say it slow and it's almost like saying...over-friendly dinosaur..
Lick-o'er-us..."
Those Sherbet Dabs, never enough stick! :(

I like pork ribs - not the salty ones though. I do sweet & sour pork ribs which is very nice served with plain white rice.

toffee apples in a Chinese restaurant --- OMG they are lovely !! (especially with ice cream) I expect pineapple would be nice too.

I'm not keen on pies. I can tolerate a steak one maybe once in a blue moon - - but pork pies - no ! too salty. I don't like the grisly bits and there's always that white fatty coating between the meat and crust -blurgh! Salt and fat - a heart attack on a plate. Pies are not very good for you .. .. .. mind you, I can't talk with my sweet tooth, sugary things are not good either :PDT_Xtremez_42:

I agree with everyone about Liquorice Allsorts, I love them !

I wonder what,
if aught,
is left but greasy stain
of domesticated beast
once slain

the butcher
the David Copperfield
of the high street shop
can disappear a living thing
and turn it into chop and slop

a sizzling slab to have
with fries
his sausage secrets
and his pies

his apron stains
eloquently
his craft explains
the sodden sawdust too

a puzzlement, he owns
the hide and bones
do not he quite bemuse
he turns them into doggy-chews

his paper bags
are stuck with hoofy-gum
and filled with bloody meat
yum-yum

Order them from Myers of Keswick (made on premises) or Tea and Sympathy. I am a vegetarian but get the potato, cheese and onion pasties from Myers of Keswick when I am down in the village

Got a TESCO near you? They stock them in frozen food section. Prefer the meat pies myself but can't get them in the Midlands.

Ps
Responded to Marty's first post, then noticed DL had beaten me to it.

33 posts over 4 pages and all containing food as your guilty pleasures you hungry lot.

My guilty pleasures do not always contain food.

Clue. One post here mentions something being smoked and the same post mentions something being salty but i'm not on about bacon ;)

That's what I have been missing, the eloquent prose of Oudeis, the pictures of GD, the diplomatic exchanges of Ged, Martin and Spike, the sensible replies of Lindylou. The cultured replies of Zappa and all you people who I have missed. (but not Georgieporgie).

Crisp, well I used to eat them by the van load...till one day I got told that they might of been the cause of my kidney stone some years ago...not had another touch wood,so be warned.
They can't say it was the crisp for definate but its the only thing I ate frequently at the time.

Used to like Tomatoes but can't eat them no more cos I get gastric in the throat.
Bananas give me the runs.
Gone right of cheese.

I love Ham on Toast,and no I ain't preggers.

Samsette

Georgie. If bananas give you the runs, then eat them with cheese. Try Bodenfelder. Its like oral sex, i.e. once you get over the smell, you've got it licked.

My guilty pleasure apart from watching far too much football, is watching the odd reality show on TV and they really are odd. The Real Housewives of NY are a hoot. The Countess indeed, lol Can't watch the Housewives of Atlanta, all that screaming and threatening is way over the top!
