For those who have never been to sea and think it is plain sailing!

Another one. Wait for the scene down below where you can see the ship flexing. Good job I already had brown undercrackers the first time I saw that - this is quite a mild example.

As one who is entirely ignorant of such things I can, naturally, talk at length about the do's and don'ts.
1.
What with weather radar, weather reports, coastal havens etc. Why was the ship there? Odd too that the seas were all over the place. (I take it it was so as there was no attempt to head into the wind?)
2.
In addition to the points above. We have seen this one before. This time I noticed the folk in the back bar fared better for a while. The piano was dangerous though.
3.
Well, yes. If you can think of filming things are not too bad.
I guess we are lucky to have you all. :)

here are two photos of storm at sea.
Canadian Pacifics, Empress of France doing somersaults in the wild winter North Atlantic, I took the photo from the top of the mast.
Then a huge wave about to overwhelm the Matina, a Fyffes banana boat south of the Azores

Just looked at these photos, they are so frightening! I have been on a ship during a storm in the Ioian Sea but not as bad as that than goodness.
I have a water bed and a 20 stone missus - does that count?

I had to laugh at Kevin's second video, although I'm sure it was no fun for them on board !

Hah! that'll be a gale force 5 or 6 then.....if it had been an 8 or 9 on the Irish sea, you'd have had no legs to stand on. :unibrow:
Twas sometimes funny watching passengers going from a shade of pink to a shade green and watching them when they disembarked on terra firma.....up,down,up,down. :)
