What do you think of the new Liverpool Daily Post & Echo websites
www.liverpooldailypost.co.uk
www.liverpoolecho.co.uk
I found it a bit annoying that they no longer put the date next to the news stories. I was half way through yesterdays news before I realised I'd already read it. :retard:
I must say they are fab, I particularly like the 'blog' feel about them and they stand head and shoulders above other similar NW news web sites.
All they need to include is the date of submition of 'todays' stories as I no longer know when a piece of news happened.

Hi Howie
This indeed seems to be a problem with on-line news sites, that since a number of them only show today's date you don't know if the article is brand new or has been up for months or years. The better style is to say "This article was originally posted on. . ." which clarifies the situation.

I noticed on the business page that the company I work for got a second place in one of the categories of the Daily Post’s Regional Business Awards.
Splendid!

Now that there's stuff building up in the archive I'm not at all impressed by the search facility compared to the icliverpool site.
