I've no doubt global warming does happen, always has done, always will do, the planet's been through four ice ages (the last one ended 10,000 years ago) so there must have been warming for the ice to disappear (and of course cooling in the first place). Compared to what has happened to the planet since it was formed, heavier rain is small fry.
How much the warming has been influenced by humans, I'm still undecided, but I doubt we've caused that much difference.

Wonder if it's the same in the uk as here now but we have been getting serious problems with the rapid fluctuations in weather also associated with global warming, it's fluctuating from hot to cold all the time...Agriculturers have had some serious problems with there growing seasons becoming rather affected over the past few years. Would seem it sometimes poses a problem for the people growing our food here. Hope it dosent become more serious tho so far they still manage to grow food somehow but many have had substantial losses.
How is it for you guys there, any feedback on agriculture? Last edited by LunaticLu; 06-30-2007 at 02:41 PM. |
