I know I was hating that myself.

The scrolling link across the top doesn't even work, very poor imho.

It'd be funny if they went and unveiled a huge investment in an inferior city down the road. ;)

True looks more like an online magazine format, dun like it myself its more confusing and more ecclectic. Or least more bunched up together, makes it hard to get a sense of clear organisation from it. Seems ramdom to me.

The new design seems to be a national thing with all BBC local web sites using the same format. For example
