As regards Heron's, a friend of mine went to school in Huyton with two lads with that surname who he's occasionally in touch with. Hi pasha Orme was the surname of a husband and wife who ran the school for St. Anne's Church, Aigburth. This was in the 1830's. They lived in Garnet Ave where his wife (Rebecca) lived untill she died, around 1968. Do you think it may be the same family? Her brother is still alive though he's in his 90's now. Mmm interesting!
