The Toffees have just announced a friendly with the Salt Lake City MLS team to be played on Saturday 21, July 2007. I hope to attend the game but, Salt Lake City is one of my least favourite cities, anywhere in the world. So I will be staying for as short a stay as possible.

I hope there isn't a YoSaltlake city forum. They will be up in arms!

Beer is very hard to come by from what I remember of my visit there in 1995.

Sorry to be nosy but am in the mood for a gossip so why? It is not just quiet, it is close to comatose. It has a antisceptic feel about it. A previous poster mentioned the drinking laws, well that too, although that doesn't bother me so much but, it is even hard to get a decent cup of tea or coffee. It is absolutely boring. Only Helsinki in Europe comes close to it for boring. Even the Mormon Tabernacle is an anti-climax but, hey, thats just my opinion.

I heard on the radio last week that Everton got beat 2-0 by Real and thought theres no shame in that, till I remembered this is the Real they were playing. :PDT_Piratz_26:

Thanks for the link SteH. By the way, Alecko Eskandarian is an excellent player. He's an ex-D.C. United player but was badly concussed a couple of seasons ago and out for much of the season -- he plays in headgear like Peter Chec
