Hello list,
Does anyone have these family names in thier family tree,s.
They all ended up in Liverpool.
The Hallowell,s came from Yorkshire in 1817.
The Bethell,s about 1835 from Chester.
The Rawlinson,s about 1820 Liverpool ?
The Kirk,s came from Co Monaghan Ireland 1848
The Dawkes from Buckinghamshire and Shropshire 1860s

Hi Dave

I know we have Kirk's in our tree but I'm not sure where they came from. They're in my mums line which includes the names McDermot, Spencer and Brookes and of course many others. I'll try to speak to her later about this and get back to you.

mmmmmmmm, got this one wrong! The Kirk's are on my fathers side of our tree lol. My great grandfather Horace Whitcomb married a Mary Ann Dobbs. Mary Ann's sister Margaret married a John Kirk. John's fathers name was James Kirk.

Thank you for your input, sorry I have taken so long to get back to you.
The only James Jirk I have died at age 5.
Still got my fingers crossed for help.

Hello Nickie, I have a BROOKES in my family tree too. It is an ANNIE BROOKES who married my gt gramps in 1895. His name was JOHN CUNNINGHAM.

Annie was born on 3.12.1875
