My dad has been dead for nearly 12 years now and was 68 when he died. His name was Robert. I was surprised by another reply to your request saying that Cairns was an unusual name as I thought that it was quite common, particularly spelt Caerns. Don't know if this is any use to you Jan caterina 01-29-2008, 07:54 PM Hi Jan yes my Great Gran was a Ruth Cairns born in Manchester and she married a Andrew Hennelly. I have been so busy with my newly found five sisters and one brother so not had time for research so if we can keep each other in mind we may make a connection. Caterina..
