Ive not long got back from weekend away with a few friends to Salou, when we were there we visited a great bar called Shanklys. Its a pub dedicated to Liverpool fc and the late great Bill Shankly, its covered from floor to ceiling with lfc memrobilia. The scouser who owns it is a life long lfc fan and a lovely man who didnt mind my friends and myself jumping behind the bar to get our photos taken with a replica european cup. He made us all very welcome, so if anyone is going to Salou this summer be sure to pay Shankleys a visit, and if anyone has already been there I would love to hear your story.:PDT_Aliboronz_24::PDT_Aliboronz_11:

I've been there the last 3 years and going again June. The thing that impresed me most about Chris the owner (whose from Kensington originally) is that he never forgets a face and remembered us each time. Great site thanx for that. When you go back give him our regards ( were the girls who hand delivered his hospital appointment of his sister ) . Did you know he has managed over twenty different pubs in Liverpool, but I dont think he will ever leave Salou, he is the only person I know who admits to looking forward to going to work of a morning.

Just returned from a week in Benidorm, there's a pub there called the Liverpool Arms and also a Grafton, which is run by Scousers as well!
