Hi there, I am hoping somebody out there can help me. My Great grandfather was Spanish and worked as a foreign correspondant for a shipping company. I believe he was either employed by the Larrinagas or was a partner of the company in some way. They lived in a big house in St. Michaels in the hamlet, in Blythswood Street, and they had a servant and i know they were very affluant, and I dont know how I would find out any more about him. Does anyone know of any records I could search to find out more information or to confirm his employment with this company ?
Help ! kaztal.

Sorry - can't help, but I do remember Mrs Larrinaga. She lived in a lodge just down from I M Marsh (part of Liverpool John Moores). I helped my uncle deliver some antiques to her about 1965.

Was her name Minnie ? Yes I believed they moved from St. Michaels in the Hamlet to near Sefton Park in latter years. Thanks anyway.

Kaztal, have you looked through the stuff in the archive? I wondered if among it all there were pictures of proud board-members/officers of the company which might help you.
