Annabells NightClub

A friend has asked me to ask the following.....
Does anyone remember Annabells nightclub that I believe was next to the Coconut Grove in Tuebrook. ?

I remember it being there but that's all. I never went there or the Coconut Grove - don't know why I didn't considering that I lived quite near.

Zapp , i think the club was actually over head the Coconut Grove , i went there a couple of times when it was a teenage disco . It had a glass dance floor on the upper level , one of those with flashing tiles . I'll ask some of my older friends about the place , they will have been there . Also my uncle worked on the Coconut Grove , i think he might have worked Annabell's too .

Thanx a bunch folks for your replies... It was the "place to be" in the 70's I believe.
