Shankly would have been proud.............
"Don't let your heads drop.
All the players who go on
the pitch after half-time have
to keep their heads held high.
We are Liverpool. You are
playing for Liverpool.
Do not forget that.
You have to hold your
heads high for the supporters.
You have to do it for them.
You cannot call yourselves
Liverpool players if you have
your heads down.
If we create a few chances
we have the possibility of
getting back into this.
Believe you can do it and you will.
Give yourself the chance
to be heroes."
(Rafa Benitez – Half time.
Ataturk Stadium. Istanbul.
25th May 2005)

Yeah the loss at Woodison was hard to take.
But surely finishing behind us for the 19th time in the last 20 years is a better definition of the term "fcuked" ?:badgrin::badgrin::badgrin:

Big Club 1 point
Small club 4 points
Rich club NO goals
Poor club 3 goals:PDT_Aliboronz_24:
I would have thought that Liverpool would finnish way way way more points in front of such a small and poor club.
Yep, add the 8 pens on that Keith Hackett admits Johnson should have had if Wenger and Warnock hadn't victimised him towards 'top' refs like Poll and Wiley and who'd have been finishing above who :unibrow:
Anyway, good luck tomorrow, you've beaten some hard teams along the way.

Never called Everton a small or poor club, actually I don't think anyone has, even Rafa only called them a "smaller" club which to all intents and purposes what they are.
I would have thought the gap between the Reds and Blues would have been wider this season too. To be honest I'm sure it would have been had the last few games of the season actually meant anything for us.
No taking anything away from Everton though as far as the derby matches went this season, the 3-0 scoreline might have been quite flattering for Everton but you can't knock the fact that Everton worked their ar$es of that day.:handclap:

I think most teams Ged could come up with a list of incidents over the course of a season where they got robbed by poor officiating.
Thanks for the best wishes, banter aside if Everton were there playing anyone but us I'd be wishing them the best of luck too.
