Hey all,
I have a HP Pavillion 9000, 17 wide screen
I have various movies on my H.D.
I have the vid-s output.
How do I get the movie to play on the t.v. rather than just on the laptop.
I have vid-s leads, scart adapter, vid-s to yellow phono,
I don't know much about "overlays" which is what i think is required.
I am also using windows proff. xp,
I am using windows media 11
HELP please.

Hi

the scart will need to be plugged into you TV,s scart and from the tv remote
select scart input. If your laptop has video and audio outputs on the phono
sockets connect them to the tv,s video and audio input sockets and again
select the input with the tv remote

Hi there,
Followed that all the way, I have the cables correct.
fn + f4 are my switch keys.
I feel it is the problem with the way I am trying to output the movie to the t.v.
Perhaps it can't be done with Windows media, an maybe I need Nero showtime, or Divx?
has any one actually used Windows media, and what settings did you use,
tools > options > preferences > advanced ?
