Dingle Community Theatre, picked up the Adjudicators Award for their production of the play The Diaries of Anne and Frank, by local writer Alan Bower. the play was in competition with 19 other plays at The Gladstone Theatre, Port Sunlight. Four cast members were nominated for other awards, and the play was nominated in another catagory. The play tells the story of two Liverpool children evacuated to Wales in 1940.
Another winner was If The Shoe Fits, by Donna Price, this play was also a Dingle Community Theatre production last year. :Smiliz_Kingz_PDT_13

saw this play at the gladstone, was absolutley brilliant. If you compare it to all the trash thats on tv today, when british t v drama was at its best I am sure this would have been included and make a great t v adaptation...along with most of the audience it made me cry. The divvy I was with thought it was the diary of ann frank. :slywink:
