It's only estate agent speak for that part of Liverpool they couldn't possibly call L8. After all they say, L8 has such negative connotations and will affect business. I don't hear them calling the Duke St area the "Georgian Quarter" when in reality these houses were actually built in Georgian times. I notice the old Princes Park Hospital , now up market "apartments" on the Toxteth side of Upper Parliament St is also classed by estate agents as being in the " Georgian Quarter" when it was actually built in the last quarter of the 19th C. I regard L8 as an undivisable whole. Like many people from L17 (and L8), I never use the term Toxteth to describe any part of this area. It's all L8:PDT11 Kev 05-08-2007, 08:12 AM 8th May 2007 - Speke Hall - Man Fishing http://farm1.static.flickr.com/221/488652545_c446febbe8.jpg (http://www.flickr.com/photos/ijob/488652545/) phredd 05-09-2007, 07:11 AM 9 May 2007 Taken yesterday. The photos themselves are good, but I think the copyright notices spoil them a bit. From my experience it's best to have a small copyright down the bottom.
