RIGHTS AND HUMANITY'S CELEBRATION
Dear All
I am writing to you on behalf of Rights and Humanity – human rights organization based in Liverpool. I would like to invite you all to “Liverpool Launch” which will happen is going to be on November 29, 2010 at the Anglican Cathedral in Liverpool. The event will focus on the Liverpool’s involvement the human rights issues and causes, including its history with the slave trade and the achievements of its many pioneering social reformers. We celebrate City’s global connections and demonstrate how its identity and perspective have been forged by successive waves of immigrants and refugees fleeing oppression and poverty. At the same time, the event tells the story of Rights and Humanity, communicating its values and vision and conveying the historic and human synergies that exist between the organization and the City. The Liverpool Launch is a poetic, evocative and inspirational event, articulating strong messages of compassion, solidarity and hope.
Through this unique gathering, the people of Liverpool and the wider region have an opportunity to demonstrate their recommitment to human rights and responsibilities and welcome Rights and Humanity into the common objective of promoting progress and wellbeing for all. The event brings together leading personalities form the international human rights world, national and local political, business, faith and civil society leaders and people from diverse sectors, ages and backgrounds in a joyous celebration of our unity in diversity, The follow up of this event will be the development and implementation of community empowerment projects and educational programmers in Liverpool and the wider region.
We hope to see as many of you as possible in the Cathedral!
