Yeah custy Gerard. They're pumping those smells into the cells to give them autheni..authencit...aut - to make them seem realistic.

Cos my dad was the foreman there, I got to see all those places when they were out of bounds. There's a great concert room too and I went in the space above it where the chandallier workings are, and up on the roof where there's a WWII siren and of course the flagpole.

The bowels of the place are scary too, the old (and very cold) doctors room and the van passage. A great building.

Them pics bring back so many memorys! When i was a kid my grandad was a caretaker at St Gearge's Hall i dont know how long he worked ther for but it was as long as i can remember but that place was my play area we used to explore from top to bottom. I use to play in them cells although they have changed alot now looking at them pics i always remember reading all the names carved in the cell walls. I even went so far down there was a small stream of running water at the bottom of building. Me and me mate use to play in the courtroom and ive got pics of me sitting on that green chair. Sadly my grandad died and because he loved his job so much he was buried in his caretaker uniform. Thanks for the pics Gerard brought back some good memories.

My dad was his boss and mate and my bro was his mate too. He had a glass eye didn't he, he practically lived there, a great little fella. He was deffo there all throughout the 70s and 80s when I used to go in there and was allowed to snoop around. They used to have all sorts of exhibitions and shows on and Organ Recitals.

Took 394 pics today!

Had to make sure they're good.:PDT_Aliboronz_24:

Going to American Pizza Slice on Whitechapel afterwards though was worth It.

Got a ham and pineapple pizza slice with garlic bread with cheese on and a coke.:PDT_Aliboronz_24:

I was hungry after all the picture taking and neck bending which was tiring.

Did you go to St George's Hall, Max?
I didn't see you there.

I went up to somebody and said "Excuse me, if I say yoliverpool to you, what would you say?"
He didn't know what I was talking about, but he's promised to look at the site.

I came up to visit the hall on 28th April, beautiful visit. I,m not a stranger to the hall. In the past I,ve seen the cellar part and the concert room; I,ve even been inside the organ for a quick butchers. Thoroughly enjoyed my visit with some friends who were suitably impressed. Every time I see a camera in Liverpool I want to ask, Yo Liverpool.

Ged

Ask away, you'll only either get a YO or a funny look. You might alert someone who's been missing out.
