Dear Lindy, we learn as we go. Do we not? :)
If only you had looked for something that resembled a skeleton dangling you would have realised all. ;)
Well done Ged....you looked it up? ;)

The old Children's Hospital where I had my tonsils removed? :)
...or, bad memory, perhaps it was the old Ear, Nose and Throat Hospital where they cut them out - since they where essentially next door to each other, IIRC.

The childrens hospital has gone, several years ago,but let's just say this might have been an "alternative"! (Must admit,I never knew the place existed, till fairly recently!)

I'm dying to know the answer now :)
I would have said the Womens Hospital.
If not, then could it be the Homeopathic hospital, Hope st ? (later known as the Hannaman building) - - - but I doubt it as the building is a totally different colour- red brick.
What about Oxford st maternity ? which is now student accomodation (I think).
Blackburn House ?? .. .. but that's a different colour brick too.

Well done Lindy, one of your multiple choices nailed it as the Hahnemann Homeopathic hospital,in Hope st.though this was a side entrance! I thought "babies & cooking" seemed an odd signage! This building is the latest to become a (proposed)"Boutique" hotel, though if the developers past record is anything to go by....dont hold your breath!
B/W photo courtesy of Hahnemann hospitals. (Apparently, there were/are quite a few of them, and I thought homeopathy was a fairly recent phenomenon!!)
