Its not just great footballers that Merseyside has a history of producing, but now Pro-Basketball players as well.
David Aliu is a star at The Highest level of British Basketball, The BBL, who has had a great career in the sport and now has returned to play for his home BBL club The Mersey Tigers.
He is a great role model for young Toxteth lads and is inspirational when he plays live at The Echo Arena. Any more unsung Merseyside sporting legends out there?
