I love Ruidoso, Colorado, La Posta, Carlsbard Cavern, White Sands, ... and El Paso, of course!!
I've never been, my brother went to San Diego last year though.
My dad hasn't been to America since the 60's when he backpacked around there .

I lived in Oregon for a while, found it one the most beautiful places in the world with the most intelligent, positive people I've ever met. Great country.

I first visited in 1976, I liked it so much I decided to live here and moved here in January 1982. There is such a variety of terrains and climates here that there is something to suit almost everyone. My only regret is that I didn't move here sooner. :PDT_Aliboronz_24:

The post was alone a joke, to look the point 38.
With regard to USA, it is an enormous, and alone country I know a part. I like to go to visit to my family, but I have born and grown in Europe, and the life me turns out to be very different there. They would like that I was living there, but it turns out to me impossible to adapt.
One of the principal motives, probably it is stupid, is that I am charmed with walking. When I am in El Paso and City Juarez with my grandparents and uncles, we realize everything in car. We buy in Wallgreens from the car, extract money of the American Bank from the car, take a Starbucks from the car...
El Paso is a nice and very calm city. It has a University at which there is employed great part of my family, and to that it likes to go to see the games of the UTEP. 70 % of the persons, is of Hispanic speech. U can manage in these 2 languages. Besides it is a very pacific place, in spite of being attached to City Juarez. The wall is more than a chunk than cement and wire.
Nearby, in New Mexico, there is a great desert called White Sands. When your you walk along the dunes, it seems that these in the snow. Also the Carlbard Cavern, with his bats, a fascinating place though very cold!!
Another site that I have in my heart is Ruidoso (Noisy). My family has little houses of wood there, cabins, and in winter I went to ski often. It is a precious place, is full of deer and bears, calls this way for the noise of the trees with the wind.
But probably, my favorite place is in Colorado. It was a very nice experiencie. My favorite animal is the reinder, though I had not seen any, alone in television. Already, the normal thing is the dog, the cat, the horse... but mine is the reindeer!!
We come by night and go to bed. In the morning I went to the bath. When I was washing my teeth, I saw to a reindeer looking for the window. I started to shouting, a reindeerrrr, a reindeerrrrrr, a reindeerrrr!!
My aunt Socorro that there was preparing the breakfast and my aunt Rosa Moyer who was going out of the shower, they began to run with me in search of the reindeer with a camera of photos. The people scared when my aunt saw us, I with cream of teeth in my mouth, with the wet hair... the three in pijamas camera in hand!!

I went to Hawaii twice last year for a month or so on each occasion.. I went outer island and visited the big island and Maui.
Boy! was I glad to get back to Europe?
Aloha Hawaii:PDT_Aliboronz_24:
I have been to many places in the world but Liverpool is the Best Place to Come Home to.
Concrete jungles and 'cardboard people' are not to my liking. I will never go to the US of A again. (Unless it's in chains) lol

How can you say it's overrated Max when you've never been,America is a fantastic place to visit,.
I say It's overrated because of family members who won't shut up about It.
Going to America just doesn't appeal to me.
I wouldn't mind somewhere east or France again.:PDT_Aliboronz_24:
Shame my Brother didn't go to Tijuana Mexico when he was In San Diego, the Cab Drivers advised not to go there as It's a hole apparently.

See that's were we differ because that doesn't appeal to me.Each to their own I suppose but in my opinion once you've been to America it can ruin everywhere else for you.I remember once sitting on a beach in Barbados wishing we'd went to America instead,I love it there.
I've only ever been to France, Denmark and Germany to get to Denmark.
All I remember of Denmark Is Lego Land and Danish Bacon I was only 9 though.
I differ to alot of people.:PDT_Aliboronz_24:

USA holds no appeal for me either. Can't say why. I don't doubt that there must be spectacular sights to see there, but it just doesn't appeal to me.
If I could afford to go anywhere in the world it would be low down on my list. I would much prefere to see all of Europe.
No offence to any members who live there. USA must have many attributes.
It's just somewhere I'm not drawn to.

It's a cheap way of getting there anyway

Reading it in a book, is nothing like seeing it through your own eyes... Never say never...:PDT_Aliboronz_24:
Every place has good and bad... I just say..KEEP a positive outlook..and one can always see beauty.. Could be in the jungles of Bornea, or just along the banks of the Mersey... Enjoy the World while you can.. And if you can.. GO FOR BUST... :PDT_Aliboronz_24:
