A 5,200-tonne, 141m (463 ft) long, Type 42 Royal Navy destroyer is to spend the weekend on the River Mersey.

The nearest that HMS Manchester can dock to her affiliated city to show off her multi-million pound improvements is Liverpool's Huskisson Dock.
