I had a tour with some guys from Skyscraper city a week ago. It was a great tour and really interesting to walk around inside the giant building site. The shops should open May 08 and the park, Sep 08.

Corner of South John Street and I think Sir Thomas Street. Cinema on the top of the building to the left. Shops down South John Street.

Traitor!!! Nice photos though! ;)

I paid the site an unofficial visit, and it was quite an experience. That place is simply massive - beats me how they coordinate it all. And there's so much yet to be built...

Hehe well yeah ;) If this forum does one I'll attend that too :D It is a stupidly large site and theres so much that I didn't think about. Its not just a case of putting in new shops theres all the electrics, water, gas, security, access, flow of people, cctv, networks everything. Its an insane project.

I was told the electricity has to be piped over from Edge Hill substation on a dedicated cable that they've laid specially.

Can't wait for so many more wonderful shops. Just look how much the MetQuarter has added to our city.

/sarcasm.

Corner of South John Street and I think Sir Thomas Street. Hi Pete, these two streets don't intersect. Sir Thomas Street runs between Dale and Victoria Streets. However, on this subject of street names; Does anyone know if any new street names will be added in the Liverpool One developement?

It's actually Thomas Street.
It's interesting to see that it's survived.

Thanks for the "inside" views, Pete.
