Based on Frank Miller's graphic novel, "300" concerns the 480 B.C. Not yet, but I raved about the Sin City movie (http://video.movies.go.com/sincity/), which kind of went "whoosh" over the heads of forumers elsewhere.

Its brilliant SD, go see. Its also quite funny in places although I don't think its supposed to be. The King's accent is also very Scottish in places...

I liked it but it has to be taken with a large pinch of salt for anybody who is using this to see what really happened (obviously must won't) as I don't think the persian's had men with swords for arms etc lol

But very good film overall I hear the effects took a year alone to put in :shock:

I was In disbelieve when the Rhino was downed by one spear though. Not even Rhino guns can easily put a Rhino down.

Screw those conspriracy Hippies, Miller made the movie for Entertainment and It's goes In Max's list on top 10 GODLIKE movies.

It has Stabbing, killing, warrior shouting, shield slamming into faces, 300 Greek Spartans(probably the toughest Greeks as places like Athen's are more known for poetry and Plato) showing balls against evil camp Persians and slow motion battle with killing.:PDT_Aliboronz_24:

Plus It has a giant monster with super strength who can pull swords out of his eye and biceps like It's nothing.

Been watching clips of this movie again since It was so cool and since read up more properly on the battle of Thermopylae so find some of my post a little strange. Can't believe I assumed the Immortals were like In the movie lol.

I think Kev is correct - it is just 300.

The 300 Spartans is the original 1962 movie. Saw it on the pictures when it first came out and have seen it occasionally on the telly since. It is one of my favourite films so I was not overawed by 300 when I had to sit through it with my kids. The technology is impressive but, IMHO, the 1962 version is a classic and a far superior film.

Amazing, Awesome! That's the word i would like to use for this movie because its a real action movie. All those taut, masculine bodies, and awesome fighting techniques and strategies are the real spice of the movie and overall it's a nice movie to watch.
