Hey Gedrick, that,s me after putting loads of boxes in the other room, I was and looked knackered, can I say knackered on here?
I ended up with a carpet anyway Ged, you should see the colour of it now, it was laid sandy coloured and now it is black, oh well that,s the downside of living in a township like Nantwich, ha ha

This little girl who was my first model, is my daughter who is 50 this month.
After a career as a nurse from 16 years of age she had to retire at 48 due to back problems. This was when it was usual for nurses to lift patients on their own without the use of lifting gear which is used now. After about 6 months of retirement such was her popularity her hospital asked if she would come back and assist in adminstration for about 16 hours per week which she now does.
P S She still blames me for having her push all those barrels on the docks for her back

Sorry to hear about her bad back, whether the barrels did it or not. Most likely, as you say, it was lifting patients in her job as a nurse, yes? Please give her my best regards. I know what back pain is like.

Can't quite make the name out but it looks like the Adventurer - a Harrison boat. Never sailed on it but worked by on it a few times in Canada Dock.
