3 walks will be led by one of the Liverpool 08 Guides over the Easter weekend. All start at 2pm and cost £3 pp and last around one and a half hours, two at most.
On Good Friday, the walk is "Murder Most Foul" - a guided walk around some of the places associated with infamous murders and crime from Victorian times to around the 1950s. It departs from outside the Mersey Ferries Ticket Office at the Pier Head.
On Easter Saturday, the walk is "From a Castle to a Tower" - a guided walk from the former site of Liverpool Castle to the former site of the Tower of Liverpool. It departs from the Victoria Monument in Derby Square.
On Easter Sunday, the walk is "The Easter Liver Bird Trail (Part One) - a leisurely stroll looking for just some of the other Liver Birds in Liverpool and learning about the buildings on which they are to be found. Should end in time to have refreshments at one of the Museum cafes (optional).
For any enquiries, please pm me.
Thanks.

it is a very important christian festival, but a vast majority of people are not christian. It is wonderful to see 2 polar opposites of things to do on good friday!
I am very interested in the walks
and have just pm'd you Julie.

Daisy Chains, I'd naturally disagree with you on numbers of Christians in England. I shall however pray for your soul.

Please pray for the souls of all the people killed in the name of one god or another too.

Thank you for your comments Taffy. I fully support your right to spend the Bank holiday in the way you wish. I hope you extend that right to myself and other people. You will doubtlessly be pleased to hear that no-one, Christian or otherwise, is being forced to attend my walk.
