this is the first drawing I have done for about 5 years

honest criticism welcome :)
It's really very good that Mandy. I always felt McCartney was very photogenic, is it taken from a known a pic in a book or anything?

Mandy
Great these Mandy, why don't you pop into that gallery up the stairs next to the Beatles shop in Mathew street and see if they'll exhibit them for you. I've noticed they're very Beatles friendly there and i've seen framed stuff being bought by the tourists for what i'd call silly prices, especially if the pose is not from a book and so therefore unique. It'd be the only type of its kind.

Saw a few 'artist' lads on the Easby Estate, Kirkdale the other day. They said they were just off to draw their dole.

Well Mandy, you are a dark horse. What smashing drawings. Bravo girl.:handclap: I had an uncle who did that in his spare time, I thought him quite good, drew or painted on anything, tin, hardboard, paper, card.
Keep it up and don,t stop:)

Mandy,
I'm not telling you what to do :) but you really should put some time aside to enjoy this talent you have :handclap: Have you ever thought of trying to move further on, eg. taking a drawing off photographs.....i know i would love this.........think about it Mandy :PDT_Piratz_26:

thanks again Jacky
I do draw from photos as its a lot easier
here is a drawing I did a couple of weeks ago of my daughter
http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y94/robbo176/guesswhere-1.jpg
by the time I get her too bed I'm to tied to draw so I just end up on the PC for a couple of hours
Mandy :)
Alternatively, instead of drawing off previously seen poses on photographs, create your own unique ones.

Most pleasing to the eye, young Mandy.

Start selling them on Ebay, Beatles, Liverbirds etc.... You'd make a mint :)
Mandy,
I agree with Kev there---there is always a market for this kind of Art, especially the Beatles !!!

I tried to teach Liverpool kids Art (for a while and for my sins). I wish some had shown the technical excellency which you have. These are very good (good being my value judgement and not a constuctive criticism in any way.)
I just like them OK ?
