It's only because of the news today, that I heard the name for the first time.

Well Phil, all we've had from Miss Katona over the last few years (from the media) has been stories of drug abuse and lack of care of her kids, these concerns shared by her ex, if we are to believe the stories.

Now this comes along and the media is full of the positive images that we used to see when she was part of the scouse group Atomic Kitten before the drug allegations etc.

I've heard of Atomic Kitten (but only just, and I don't think I've heard any of their records).
As for the media - I just don't bother much, apart from watching the news on BBC and Channel 4 (but never ITV).
I've learnt more about a lot of things since joining a forum called yoliverpool! :handclap:

Did anyone see Kerry Katona on Jonathon Ross last night? :shock: Honestly, her chin and general mouth area seemed completely independent to the rest of her body, what's all that about?

The interview was pants, Jonathon Ross was quick to recall the drug use (in the past) and Kerry didn't have anything to talk about apart from these past experiences and her mother, she was quick to direct away towards her mums antics at every opportunity. She looked and sounded terrible.

I can't understand how she gets all this work on TV and in the OK magazine?!!

And the interview was before Will Smith, which I would have preferred to listen to longer.

She's just pointless, Jonathan Ross must be desperate if he's getting her on. Her Iceland adverts say it all - she's just a mum now nothing else is going on in her life.

I reckon there's lots of mums on this site who would make a far better face of Iceland than Kerry Katona.

Trouble is, she puts on such a silly voice when she's doing those adverts, I'm not surprised people hate her.

However, I can remember her from her Atomic Kitten days and she was OK then - if a little gobby.

I'm sticking up for her, whether she gets herself in a mess or not, I'm sure the rest of us ain't perfect.

Like most people i too was not a fan of Kerry, i got the shock of my life when i found out she was to award Emma her child of courage award , In all fairness to the woman , she was fantastic, She's gone up in my estimation , although i still hate that Iceland advert, lol

Very true lindylou there's alot of difference between being the salt of the earth and the scum of the earth.
Its how your brought up, my nephew grew up in Toxteth by a single working mother went to the local school and got 10 A grade GCSE'S or whatever it is nowadays, and is in his 4th year studying to be an architech at university, all his mates are either in nick or on the coke, and in now way is he a soft lad either.
He is where he is because he was brought up the right way and I'm proper made up for him.
Being thick as f*ck and ignorant are'nt things to aspire to, though to alot of people it would seem they are.
To me Kerrys a waste of space with a lot of cash and hangers on and I can't see much future for her to be honest.
