I thought the reason Beckham was discarded was to allow Aaron Lennon his chance. But McClaren played Lennon on the left in the Israel game. Bring back Beckham and sack McClaren.

Couldn't do any worse. Beckham could give them the spark they need. He was, I believe, an inspirational captain.

I see Lampard's ruled out of tonight's match against Andorra with a broken wrist. It is believed the damage was done when the Chelsea man got in the way of a Wayne Rooney shot while training. He might be out of the Chelsea squad for a while too, another blow for José.

I feel a bit sorry for McClaren (Spelt right?) to be honest Dave,He is simply not good enough and nor are the England players..The FA obviously didn't want him as 1st choice...Phil Neville..the worst footballer I have ever seen in my life who has never put a decent cross in in his Life,and I'm an Evertonian..Im not having a go at Manchester either as his brother Gary is a great Footballer..
Miserable Sod who wouldn't laugh if he fell in a Barrel of Ti.ts but still a great Fullback.

Beckham is finished..He was Overated 10 years ago even Georgie Best said that..
