Never knew Mossley Hill had an athletics club.

When my Brother drives past the Mossley Hill Hospital he says It's proper spooky looking at night when It's empty.

I'll give you a tip Max - get some speed up going down Rose Lane and see how far you can jump over the railway bridge :PDT_Xtremez_42:

Cause I was once late home from work and got up some speed and nearly lifted off :PDT11

Ahhhh.:PDT11

I've rode up It on my bike but tired out with It being step and my now broken bike was getting worse and worse to ride but I went down Rose lane without brakes and was scary when stopping the bike!

I've nearly crashed Into cars because my brakes constantly needed adjusting, the front brake pad Is worn out to the metal!

I went down upper Duke Street once to get Night pics and couldn't stop when I got to the Anglican, so I turned and crashed Into the steps by the traffic lights!

Luckily the bike slowed down enough were I didn't fall off but bumped my croctch bone Into the front bar of the bike.:PDT_Xtremez_42:

Riding down Everton on the Road where the Brow Is was the worse, the hill was so steep I only just didn't bump Into any cars and managed to stop at the traffic lights.

I saw the sign going up for the field of hope last week as I drive that way into work.Opposite the Uni has a large house which they let out to more mature students.

Very funny, Max. You were menace on the roads, to yourself and to everyone around you! Hope you're bike is back up and running safely soon!

Hehe the joy of cycling down steep hills with no brakes!

I'm just home from work (left city centre at half 6, home at wavertree at 8!) after riding home the "scenic" way - Riverside Walk, Otterspool, Grassendale, Mossley Hill and Sefton Park. And a superb sunset to go with it, I really wish I'd had my camera with me.

You appreciate the "hill" bit of places like Mossley Hill and Edge Hill on a bike!

Oh and for the record: 51 mph down the Holme Moss road in the Peak District - now THAT was fun! (yes I did have brakes that day)

I'll second the Gateacre Brow one - even funnier when someone steps on to the crossing at the bottom of the hill!!!! :PDT_Xtremez_42:

In the wet was a bit hairy especially as you reach the lights and cars break!

Nice pics Kev, I've just been there again with my camera but it was too hazy (nothing to do with me not having the photography skills to make the most of the haze :unibrow: )

I need to learn how do panoramas without the pics stretching out, they'd be godlike If mine didn't stretch out otherwise.

Nice classic feel to Kev's though.:PDT_Aliboronz_24:
