We’ve haven’t posted much about The Beatles but this nugget of news just couldn’t be ignored: John Lennon’s loo is going up for sale. In what’s possibly the weirdest Beatles lot we’ve heard of (those ‘locks of hair’ auctions always creep us out too), John’s toilet from his Berkshire home in the late 60s is [...]

Imagine there's no loo paper,
It's easy if you try,
No pants surround me,
Just have to sit here and cry.

If I had the lavvy of Ma Lennon's famous son
I'd have no wish to spoil it
with my number two and number one
Instead; I'd use your toilet

I'd much rather have Lennon's than Elvis's :$ik:

The buyer told his wife he was going to an auction to buy some Beatle’s crap....:)

This lady, who none would term a lush,
is married to a disappointed man.
This lovely, loving couple may well indeed be flush,
but all he bought is no more than the pan.

Although John Lennon is not with us anymore,
the buyer now has something he once owned.
Not piano, glasses nor even music-score,
but the thing on which he often was enthroned.

I trust that all are happy now
with what they've sold and bought
and there'll not be any row
one the money got, the other got the pot.

I'd sooner take possession of the thoughts he had whilst on the throne. :)
