Even though I'm a professional, I find that only means I make money from doing a job I love. I've seen some rubbish professionals and some amazing amateurs. Just as I have in web design. It means they're good at getting paid more than the job they're paid to do :)

Seriously, WTF? Are you saying that every pro is amazing? I've seen some real rubbish ones. Who did I patronise? So I should be saying "Whey look at me. I's well pro innit.
