Has anybody heard of an old disused hospital on the Dock Rd/Vauxhall Rd out towards Bootle?

Yeah, it was called The Northern or to give it its full title, The David Lewis Northern Hospital. It was supposed to have been haunted by Florence Nightingale :rolleyes:

There's the former Bootle Borough Hospital, not far from the Seaforth container port. Now called 'Mast House' the buildings are used by (I think) a pharmaceuticals company. I've had a sniff round the outside, and it looks like little or nothing got demolished, including what I think was the mortuary.

If this is on the left as you head towards Seaforth, you are correct, there
is a write up on port Liverpool if you do a search for Bootle Hospital. Did you
get any pic,s when you had a nose
