Just under 14 stone, but still have a 33" waist and a 42 inch chest. Feel as fit as f~~k. I'll probably end up like my Mum (who I take after), healthy and fit all through her adult life then wham! Gone after getting the big C.:PDT_Xtremez_12:

Have t' get the Bike out and do me End of the Prom and back 18 Mile Bikey..
Use t' do 4 or 5 of them a week..Dead straight Run..Takes nothing outer yer..Except if you hit the wind comin' back..
Tellin yer Dave lad..That can be a struggle..I used keep goin' straight into it and wouldn'd stop and me Sweat bag would be soaked..No wonder I got down to 12 stone..
Av to start off gentle though this time !

Marie, just viewed your link. Never realised you're from N. Spain.
My wife and I done the el Camino de Santiago pilgrimage in the 1990s. I'm not a Holy Joe, but my wife has enough faith for both of us.:PDT11

I made something similar to the Way of Santiago, several times to the year when I have to work, to Galicia. I do it in car or in autobus, 7 hours driving or 14 hours in bus (497milles or 800kms.) And I really, I finish very tired... It is a joke. Sorry!! I have visited the Cathedral, coz I like the architecture, but I have never realized the way, for which I am not religious.

Do you like Galicia? Since point to which point you walked? Galicia has a few precious coasts, but probably it trumps the maintenance of his cities. Many villages and small cities. Besides, because Francisco Franco was born in Galicia, in Ferrol, it did not lead to studies. The ignorant people are easier to handle. All that has reverberated. It is nice, but today in day, the government has forgotten to help them to improve his quality of life.

My fathers family are from America, and my mothers family are from Iparralde (a Basque place of France).
Really, I am not feeling Spanish, for my culture, my language, my costumes, ... I am feeling Basque.

Really, I never went by Santiagoīs Way. I was driving by the autopist!!! :PDT11 I am not religious!! And when I went to Galicia, I went to work only... but I saw somes places of there. I live in Bilbao.

Never thought about it until you mentioned it. Went down South 32 years ago as a teenager, but haven't really been been away from Liverpool in all that time. Just been chatting to Gerard and asked him whether I've still got my accent. Despite what he's gonna post to take the **** out of me, he reckons I've still got it.

Mind you, Gerard talks in one of those high pitched camp accents like Holly Johnson, so what does he know!:unibrow: :PDT_Aliboronz_24:
