View Full Version : Liverpool 0 Man Utd 1
When even Ferguson admits they were lucky thats a clear indication of the Reds dominance. If we could have a decent winger who'd get the ball into the box more and a goal poacher we'd be up there at the top not them. United are a good team, there's no denying that but other teams have been showing them far too much respect, at the back they are shaky.

Hi Steve
We should have put this match away easily. We completely dominated them and were running the game. Wingers. I have seen more effort from Pennant in the past couple of matches and Gonzalez had a good match as well. However, Steve Finnan is arguably a better crosser of the ball than either of them. Sissoko is excellent at tackling and holding the ball but his passing is often mediocre, nevertheless he is an essential part of our system - he does need to improve his passing for Tuesday.
As for Manchester, yes they were lucky to win. I arrived at the bar to see last week's game as Man U were finishing their match with Fulham and there was a Manchester fan who was bewailing how badly they had played and that they deserved to lose. But then they scored to win the match, just as they did yesterday. But that's how you win a championship, playing badly but still winning.
